Can you tell us your love story of how you met and how you fell in love?
We met while out on the town in the spring of 2016. From the very first moment, there was a special connection. We have now been together for nine years and are still completely in love, because we have found a nice balance between living together and enjoying life, but also allowing each other freedom. That keeps the excitement alive.
Why did you choose this dress and what did you like the most about it?
I bought my dress at Beijer & Besselink in Beltrum. I had read about them in the newspaper and spontaneously planned a visit in early November. Luckily for me, they had an appointment available for me that same day and I received excellent service. Beijer & Besselink delivers craftsmanship and has an eye for detail. From the moment I put on the Modeca dress (the Dorran style), I knew immediately: this is the one. What I liked most about it were the refined lace details, the elegant back and the comfort. I felt confident, stylish and radiant in it all day long.
I discovered Modeca at Beijer & Besselink and immediately fell in love with the style: feminine, modern and timeless. During my appointment, that feeling was only confirmed. I didn’t have a specific image in mind beforehand and went into the shop with an open mind. This dress immediately felt like it was made for me.
Where did you get married and why did you choose this venue?
We got married at Landgoed Het Laer in Ommen. We chose this location because of its intimate, romantic atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings. We always said: if we ever get married, it will be here. It’s so special that this could become a reality.
