DISCOVER THE DRESS
Can you tell us your love story of how you met and how you fell in love?
“Here is a little about how I met my husband Eoin. We are both Irish living in Liverpool and during Covid when the world had been locked away for months we found ourselves out in a bar with friends. I heard his voice from across the room, his wee Irish accent and was totally drawn to him. We got talking and found so much in common and we have been inseparable since. Eoin took sick about 3 years ago with a bleed on the brain and was in an induced coma with the uncertainty of survival. As scary as it was I never doubted his recovery. I knew one day I would walk down the aisle to him. And I did! And in the most beautiful dress.
After a crazy few years Eoin proposed and it was such an easy yes. We’ve been through so much together and the love grows every day.
Why did you choose this dress and what did you like the most about it?
The wedding planning was so fun! One weekend we were in Eoins hometown Armagh in Ireland, me, my mum, auntie and cousin went to House of Hurson. The most adorable boutique. Helena’s selection of gowns were all so unique and different which is exactly what I wanted. A dress I had never seen before. The moment I put on my Modeca dress I just knew it was the one. The pearl detail on the bodice and the shimmer through the skirt was just magical. I loved the detail and overall how it fit me. It was made for my body. What made this moment even more magical is that I was House of Hursons first bride!
Where did you get married and why did you choose this venue?
Our wedding day was so special. We got married in the Clandeboye lodge in the North of Ireland. The relaxed, fun and modern vibe of the venue was exactly what we wanted. The whole day was just perfect. Thank you for making the most beautiful dress I get to call mine.”
